This was such a competitive game we chose more than half a team’s worth of Players of the Match – and the rest nearly made it too. If anyone still believes men’s football is better than the women’s game, or the SWPL is better than the SWFL, we absolutely beg to differ. A great 90 minutes, more inspiring interviews and thanks to both teams for another warm welcome, despite the freezing wind.
